Reason: Temporary Exhibition
Description: Demounted dry. Paper debris removed from edges of verso using moisture. Lining and old infill removed by applying tap water to verso with a brush and peeling away in sections with tweezers. Weak areas supported using Mino adhered with Culminal (nonionic cellulose ether). Loss infilled using Hosho and Culminal (nonionic cellulose ether) and retouched using Winsor and Newton artist's watercolours (organic,inorganic pigments,gum arabic). Humidified over capillary matting and Gore-Tex in a chamber and pressed between blotting paper under a board with weights. Inlaid using slot method and mounted in royal acid free board by MT3.
