Treatment; 29 Mar 1999; Remove adhesive residue from verso. Flatten edges and inlay. Return to Dylan.; Western Art on Paper

Reason: Recent Acquisition; Storage
Description: Adhesive residue removed using a crepe rubber. Tape removed using a poultice of Culminal (nonionic cellulose ether), and adhesive residue removed by swabbing with cotton wool moistened with water. Creasing flattened by applying IMS locally with a brush and using finger pressure. Tears repaired using Japanese paper and Culminal (nonionic cellulose ether). Humidified over capillary matting and Gore-Tex in a chamber and pressed. Inlaid. Pressed again.
