Description: Lifted from mount by cutting guards with a scalpel. Debris and adhesive removed with Culminal (nonionic cellulose ether) poultice and moist cotton wool swabs. Lifting fragment readhered with Abra starch (wheat starch). Loss of media retouched with Winsor and Newton artist's watercolours (organic,inorganic pigments,gum arabic). Humidified over capillary matting and Gore-Tex in a chamber. Pressed. Inlaid using Japanese paper strips and Culminal (nonionic cellulose ether) adhesive.
