Treatment; 11 Jan 1996; De-grease and lacquer; Metals

Reason: Loan
Description: Coin was de-greased with Acetone. This also removed some of the dirt. Lacquered with 10% Paraloid B72 (ethyl methacrylate copolymer) in acetone. When dry applied a light film of Renaissance wax (cosmolloid 80H-microcrystalline wax,BASF hard wax "A"-polyethylene wax,white spirit)
