Treatment; 25 Apr 1994; Lift form album sheet, remove verso debris.; Western Art on Paper

Reason: Temporary Exhibition
Description: Lifted from album sheet by undercutting with a scalpel. Placed in a humidity chamber (formed by introducing humidity from the ultrasonic humidifier into the dome of the suction table). After approximately one hour the adhesive had softened. Paper debris and residual adhesive removed with the aid of a metal modelling tool and cotton wool swabs moistened with water. Pressed.
