Description: Removed old repairs, top edge and right corner, bottom left and right recto and verso using moisture. Borders blotter washed. Tears were supported with toned mino, top edge, left edge and the weak right edge verso. The left edge was repaired with handmade esparto paper dyed with yasha and retouched with watercolours ontop. The missing top right corner and worm holes bottom centre and right and left edges were also repaired with the handmade esparto adhered with cellofas and retouched with watercolours. Tegami was adhered with wheat starch paste to the edges and the object was placed on the drying board. The left edge did not pull out very flat so whwn the object was taken off the board this area was lightly spray relaxed and pressed between blotting and weights. The object was re-placed in its acid free mount.
