Treatment; 08 Oct 2015; Readhere delaminating mount joints. Readhere lifting from pest damage only where there is a risk of the delamination spreading into the painting. Overall strong horizontal creases and delamination evident on painting. These not to be treated at present.; Eastern Art on Paper and Silk

Reason: Permanent Exhibition
Description: The delaminating mount joints were readhered using wheat starch paste. Lifting areas surrounding pest damage were readhered and repaired using Japanese paper adhered with wheat starch paste (only at areas where there was risk of delamination spreading; stable pest damaged areas were left untreated).
