Description
The object was cleaned with Wishab sponge (vulcanized latex,filler). the powdery areas were consolidated with 3 applications of 1% Mowital B30H (polyvinyl butyral) in Acetone (propan-1-one/dimethyl ketone)/Industrial methylated spirits (ethanol,methanol) (1:1). The wood base was repainted with vinyl matt emulsion paint to match the appearance of the object more closely.
