Reason: Temporary Exhibition
Description: Lifted by undercutting with a scalpel. Debris pared down, then removed using a poultice of Culminal (nonionic cellulose ether). Adhesive residue removed with cotton wool swabs dampened with warm water. Surface dust removed using a soft Japanese brush. Bottom corner supported with a similar paper toned with Winsor and Newton artist's watercolours (organic,inorganic pigments,gum arabic), and wheat starch adhesive. Humidified over capillary matting and Gore-Tex in a chamber. Pressed. Attached with japanese hinges and methylcellulose to 6ply Heritage museum back board.
