Treatment; 04 Feb 2015; Light Surface clean. Secure most vulnerable flakes on leaves. Create handling/storage tray with recessed holding space to minimise direct handling.; Organics

Reason: Temporary Exhibition
Description: Cleaned object using very soft brush and vacuum, cleaning along the direction of the leaves. Flakes reattached using wheat starch paste. Tips of leaves reinforced with acrylic toned Japanese paper and wheat starch paste, Box built to house spear, with recess to impede movement and covered with Tyvek to lessen static. Treatment completed by Vania Assis, Icon, HLF intern.
