Reason: Temporary Exhibition
Description: The excess adhesive was removed using swabs of Synperonic N in distilled water and then gently scraping away with a scalpel. The old adhesive proved to be water soluble. Lightly cleaned the surface with moistened swabs of Synperonic N and distilled water. The flaking surface was consolidated with two coats of 2.5% Paraloid B72 (ethyl methacrylate copolymer) in xylene using a pipette.
