Description: Removed over paint with Acetone (propan-1-one/dimethyl ketone) applied on cotton swabs. Placed the vessel in an Industrial methylated spirits (ethanol,methanol) atmosphere to dismantle fragments which were held by an old shellac repair. Once dismantled the fragment edges were cleaned under microscope with a scalpel to remove any traces of shellac. Consolidated running crack with 5% Paraloid B67 (polyisobutylmethylacrylate) in acetone and IMS. Bonded fragments using 40% Paraloid B72 in acetone and IMS.
