Treatment; 02 Jan 1992; Lift. Remove old inlay (and tape adhesive). Inlay (strip method) and mount solid with Perspex verso. Stamp mount.; Western Art on Paper

Reason: Storage
Description: Old inlay removed using a poultice of Cellofas B3500 (sodium carboxymethyl cellulose). Adhesive reside removed from verso edges using cotton wool swabs dampened with hot water. Weak areas supported using Tengujo Japanese tissue and wheat starch adhesive. Inlaid into BM thin inlay paper using strips of Usumino 2-toned Japanese tissue and Cellofas B3500 adhesive. Pressed.
