Description: Top window mount removed from backboard using a spatula to reveal entire inlay sheet. Inlay paper adhered at four edges to the mount backboard. Inlay paper cut with a scalpel to remove inlayed object from backboard. Heavy weight chamfered edges of inlay blotter removed from object with a 5% poultice of Culminal (non-ionic cellulose ether) and a micro spatula, cleared with filtered water dampened cotton wool swabs. Object humidified over Gortex and dampened capillary matting within a chamber for two hours. Object pressed between blotters and boards for a day. Object strip inlayed into a sheet of 80gsm inlay paper with strips of Tengujo and 5% Culminal (non-ionic cellulose ether). Object pressed between blotters and boards. Object mounted into a Royal overthrow of 6ply Heritage 100% Cotton Museum Board with a backboard of 4ply Heritage 100% Cotton Museum Board and hinged in using archival gummed cotton paper tape.
