Treatment; 29 Apr 1985; Dismantle old repair, clean, stick.; Ceramics & Glass

Description: Pigments were tested with swabs of cotton wool dampened with water to see if colours were fugitive – they were fast. Old joins were softened by injecting warm water into the joins. Cotton wool soaked with IMS was applied locally to joins. Surrounded by aluminium foil to prevent evaporation. Adhesive removed from edges using scalpel blade also plaster. Reconstructed with HMG cellulose Nitrate adhesive.
