Numerous fragments (approximately 34) of woven flax shroud with undyed, golden-tan, coarse, yarns of slightly open, balanced, plain weave. The spinning direction of the warp and weft is 's' and the selvedge is reinforced. The warp thread count is 6 and the weft thread count is 6. The fabric has a waxy substance applied to it, then it has been pressed. There is no decoration or other features. Dimensions of largest fragments given only.
