Textile fragment of mummy wrapping; irregular, ragged fragment of linen, medium-coarse quality, undyed, now buff-coloured with grey-brown oily stains. Very worn. Edges torn, cut (in modern times) or ragged. The weave is plain [warp-faced simple linen] and the threads are S-spliced and S-spun; the stitch gauge is warp c.24 ends per 10mm and weft c.8 picks per 10mm.

- EA 76002-76005 were found together with two other textiles (Unregistered 1097-8) in a paper bundle, unlabelled but associated with other bundles labelled 'Dr Granville'. Considered to come from A B Granville, and probably to be part of the wrappings of the mummy of Irtyersenu, unwrapped by Granville in 1821.
