Beaker-shaped cup of Nile silt pottery with flat base, vertical sides and everted rim. The exterior is coated with red slip, burnished and decorated in buff-white pigment with three vertical panels with double borders running from rim to base filled with a line–lined herring-bone pattern. Interior lip is slipped and burnished and decorated with 5 sets of varying numbers of slashes running perpendicular to rim. The rest of the interior is untreated.
