Linen shroud of Soter, Archon of Thebes, removed from coffin, rectangular, painted with a polychrome representation of Osiris, mummified, with face, neck, pectoral and collar gilded; Horus and Thoth, above, pour water over the figure; Isis and Nephthys are shown kneeling in mourning; Four Sons of Horus below; the whole is surrounded by a representation of a large snake, with tail in mouth; vertical register of hieroglyphs, down centre of Osiris figure, including the names and titles of Soter.
