Oval dish of Nile silt pottery with rounded base and flaring sides, coated with red slip and burnished; the body is chipped in a number of places. The interior is decorated in thick yellow pigment with alternated bands of double zig-zags and stylised plant fronds

The bold style of the painted design is similar other oval dishes mainly without provenance, but possibly from Gebelein.
