Textile fragment of undyed linen cloth (mummy-wrapping?); medium quality. Red (v. faded) and blue stripes along plain selvedge. Other edges are torn. Worn, especially along the selvedge. The weave is plain [warp-faced simple tabby] and the threads are S-spun and S-spliced; the stitch gauge is warp c.30 ends per 10mm and weft 16 picks per 10mm.
