Bronze standing figure of a queen or priestess, shown wearing a short wig, beaded collar and a close-fitting robe. The right arm is bent at the elbow with the hand extended forwards; it probably once held a sistrum or other ritual object; the left arm is also bent but is held close to the body. In the left hand is an aegis of a divinity and from the left arm hangs a bag. The feet are missing. On the back there are traces of an incised hieroglyphic inscription, beginning 'Bastet, give life [to] ...'
