Large pedestalled goblet, wheelmade with clear ridges on interior and exterior. Direct rim, straight walls and body curving down to meet a hollow foot, which was added after production. Rim diameter 13.9cm. Made in a dark pink Aswan fabric, with numerous red, white and grey stone inclusions, as well as soft red fragments and a piece of shell.
Decorated with a red painted rim; below, a frieze demarcated by two black painted lines above and two black painted lines below filled in with red, surrounding a string of balls in a mix of red and black. Below is another frieze containing red and black garlands, finished with one black and two red painted lines below.
