Description
Mould-made terracotta lamp. Ring-handle with forked spine. Sunken discus decorated with erotes carrying Sacred Couch of Sarapis, on which rest five deities, presumably Sarapis, Harpokrates, Isis, Demeter and another god. On either side, Eros and Psyche, with garlands above. Angular shoulder, with impressed ovules on upper angle. Three raised points between nozzle and discus. Pseudo-base-ring, with internal decorative impressed circles. Red-brown clay and slip. Plaster mould. Handle broken.
