Dark blue-green glazed composition vase with flat base, convex sides, short neck and everted ledge-rim, originally with two lug handles on the shoulder (now broken), the exterior and rim are damaged in a number of places; the lid is circular with a centrally placed cylindrical handle, the top is decorated with a moulded green wreath in relief; the contents consist of a mass of fragments of basket work, seven ball of wool (beige, orange, red, green and blue), a large amount of beige woollen thread, twisted together and wound around a bundle of twigs, other disassociated lengths of wool, two iron needles, a small iron spoon, and a segment of dried fruit skin (?).
