Length of medium - fine linen mummy-wrapping sewn together in modern times; edges are torn, ends are ragged; two lines of Hieroglyphic text including name of Horemakhbit and chapters from the Book of the Dead (ch. 1-3,15,17,18,19,24,25,28,29).
The weave is plain [warp-faced simple tabby] and the threads are S-spun; the stitch gauge is warp c.31-41 ends per 10mm and weft c.12-15 picks per 10mm. Many of the strips were sewn together via a patch of white modern linen, sewn with white S-plied cotton thread.
