Fish as amulet: probably 'Barbus bynni' as amulet in opaque sealing-wax-red glass, the surface now wholly discoloured. The fish lies on a low plinth which is pierced through its thickness below the fish's head. The eyes are formed of some unidentified, possibly resinous, material contained within small gold discs.
