- Description

Blue glazed composition amuletic plaque: human-headed Imsety is incised in profile into a blue-green glazed composition plaque. As usual, he is mummiform, bearded and wears a collar, but his wig is short and he holds extended before him the symbol of the west, the land of the dead. This takes the form of an osterich feather on a pole with a loop of material hanging from it. The amulet is pierced at head and foot for attachement to mummy wrappings.
