Description
Central portion of a monumental red granite stela; remains of a relief figured scene at the top below which are rows of incised Greek text commemorating a royal visit to the First Cataract in the second year of the joint reign of Ptolemy IX and Cleopatra III and referring to privaleges granted to the priests of the Temple of Khnum; lower part worn and obscured by two rectangular sockets.
