Description
Fragment of rim and wall of East Greek black-figured pottery bowl. Inside glazed with friezes in added colour of tongues, diamonds and bands; outside, band of tongues at rim; two friezes below, separated by band; above, lion, head turned back, confronting griffin, whose front right paw rests on lion's head; below, part of two swans, to right; blob rosette filling ornament; some added red on animals.
