Body sherd of Clazomenian black-figured pottery vessel; interior reserved with wheel-marks; exterior: black-figure decoration consisting of dancing male figures facing each other (of left figure, part of beard and outstreched left arm remaining; of right only face with added red, chest, arms, raised right knee and genitalia).

Object owned and held by the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. Clazomenian kraters and dinoi are unslipped on their interior. For other examples, see Cambridge Fitzwilliam GR.54.e.1899, GR.54.a.1899, GR.54.b.1899, GR.54.c.1899, GR.54.f.1899 and GR.300b.1899. However, the inner surface here retains rather heavy wheel-marks.
Cook suggests that the scene depicted on the sherd may be of the same type as the one depicted on British Museum 1888,0208.68, 1888,0208.70e, 1888,0208.70f and 1888,0208.76d from Tell Defenneh. The scene on Side B of this slim amphora is of two satyrs bouncing a boy or man.
