Description
Fragment of lower wall of North Ionian black-figured pottery bowl; interior, from the top: glazed with incised lotus and bud frieze with added red and white, above alternating red and white bands; reserved metope and triglyph frieze of dots and triple verticals; at the centre, the tip of a ray or bud. On the slipped exterior, frieze of rays, with four lines below. The exterior paint fired to weak red (10 R 4/4) and red (10 R 5/6).
