Body sherd of Laconian black-figured pottery kylix; creamy slip; interior: black-figure decoration consisting of komos scene (from left, legs of komos dancer, to right; second dancer, legs with possible traces of added red on thighs remaining, to left); below, narrow black lines; exterior: hook maeander pattern between narrow and wide black bands; below, parts of rays.

Curator's comments
The sherd joins Alexandria 9362. Venit notes the similarities between the incision lines on the thighs of the dancers with those of the winged daemons and male slave on the kylix Louvre E667, also by the Naukratis Painter.
