Terracotta figure of naked woman (Aphrodite?) standing on shell. Mould-made. White coating preserved on some areas. Pale red-brown fabric with grey core. Abundant fine silver and gold mica, quartz and white inclusions.

Aphrodite standing on shell, probably in standard pose as seen on example in the British Museum from Smyrna (Burn & Higgins 2001, no.2305, LIMCII nos 401-2). See also NA458. Published by Gutch as from the later layers of the Hellenion (in Hogarth 1899, 82, no.48, not all the fragments can be identified).
