Ewer with moulded, bulbous body, flaring neck, collar with 2 rows of triangular pierced designs, handle from neck to shoulder. Neck consists of 3 sections with 2 rows of circular indentations. These sections meet at a raised join below and a small shelf above. Moulded decoration consists of rows of small raised circles. Luted join is slightly raised. The collar, neck, and join of the two parts of the body are covered in micaceous slip. Inner filter broken. Unglazed reddish micaceous pottery.
