Dish, made of black, turquoise, cobalt, manganese, green glazed pottery. The dish, which has a flattened softly foliated rim, stands on a low ground-down foot-ring with a central unglazed spot. It is painted in tones of cobalt blue, grey-blue, turquoise, pale green and manganese outlined in black with three large composite rosettes containing cloud-bands, smaller three-pronged tulips, hyacinths and fritillaries springing from a cloud-band base. The rim has a Aware and rock@ scroll transformed into sponge-like cartouches with feathery centres against tight spiral scrolls. The exterior of the cavetto with pairs of three-pronged tulips alternating with single rosette heads.

- Radial firing crack. Localized iron staining to the foot. Foot-ring with three grooves possibly indicating drilling before being cut down. Glaze scratched on the interior and chipped around the rim.
