- Old postcard; postally used; divided back; postmarked 31.VIII but year unclear. Message reads: "From your loving son Jim xxxxx. My photo taken here will follow soon. My dear Mother, Hoping you're all quite well, I am having the best time of my life at Cairo so naturally feeling quite fit, which you will see later, each of these cards I am numbering for I shall send them frequently so you will know if any going to the bottom. Save them for me please for there is a lot to learn + explain some day".
