- Curator's comments
- A very droll satire relating to the imagined life of the Queen of Sheba. The author is given as Phinneas A. Crutch which is the pseudonym of Stark Young (1881-1963), the American literary figure who in 1922 also wrote a full-length play "Queen of Sheba", which was printed in 'Theatre Arts Magazine', vol. 6/2.
