A large floor-cover / rug; rectangular in shape, and made from wool felt with a mid-brown 'ground'. Central rectangle is divided into three squares: the central one has a round, eight-petalled floral motif with a yellow/orange star shape in the centre. The two squares flanking it have identical patterning: a composite motif of white/orange/green geometric shapes alternating with yellow diamonds with purple flowers. Two polychrome borders; the inner one has a polychrome plaited pattern on a cream 'ground', the outer one has a large zigzag line with spaces between filled in with floral motifs (inner) and chevron patterning (outer). Grey/brown mottled felt on reverse. Unused.
