An amulet, in the shape of a dancing man, a whirling dervish, his arms raised. Made of natural cream wool felt. Wears a tall hat and long, flared, ankle-length garment. Waistband and centre front opening to bodice delineated with linked couched red plastic (?) beads. The folds of the skirt represented by paired lines of green beads. A blue plastic cube with an eye (?) on it protects his heart; surrounded by concentric rings of yellow beads. His hat has green (lower) and red (upper) beads also. Two silver-coloured metal rings on his footwear (One larger than the other: wedding rings?). Two blue plastic button for his eyes, red beads for his mouth Gold-coloured plastic faceted beads sprinkled over entire surface. Light brown plastic buttons stitched near edge of amulet, with a cowrie shell after every third button. Plied orange wool cord stitched at edge, with a loop at the top for hanging. Two cream and two orange tassels suspended from bottom edge. Reverse made natural cream felt, with dark brown felt at the bottom; stitches visible.
