An amulet, in the shape of a stylised eagle. Made of mid-brown wool felt. A central plastic circle where mirror is placed (missing) encircled by round white plastic buttons and cowrie shells and bordered by couched small blue plastic (?) beads, linked together. Two triangular pieces of black woven cloth applied above and below; embroidered in chain stitch with a red, green and white scroll design, bordered with couched green plastic (?) beads. Gold-coloured plastic round beads sprinkled over entire surface. Round blue plastic buttons stitched near edge of amulet, with a cowrie shell after every third button. Plied red wool cord stitched at edge, with a loop at the top for hanging. Three pale green and two yellow tassels suspended from bottom edge. Reverse made from red, mid- and dark brown felt; stitches visible.
