A very large, rectangular bag. Made of two widths of warp dominant (tabby) woven wool cloth, sewn edge to edge along the selvedges. Stripes of different widths: mottled and solid tones of brown and two wide natural cream stripes; largely symmetrical about the (vertical) centre line. Narrower patterned stripes towards the sides. Bands of cream/brown twining at intervals. Fringe at bag opening on one side; other side has bound edge, using natural cream tabby woven cloth; also frayed / damaged.
