Village boy's coat (qumbaz), in golden yellow, white and red striped silk and cotton with two side vents and metal poppers fos closure. Lined with a cream cotton and faced with a red cotton. Neck opening and cuffs trimmed with braided yellow/cold silk cord/trimming.

- Curator's comments
- The quality and type of material (silk cotton) most probably woven in Syria and the detail of work done in the red facing on the inside of the coat, especially at the bottom where a clear design has been worked out and executed could suggest that this were a coat made and worn for special occasions.
