Description
A rectangular patterned rug / floor-cover / wall-cover; tapestry and weft faced tabby weave. Warp made of cream and beige cotton, some pink cotton and brown woollen yarn. Beside each raw warp end is a weft faced light brown (camel hair?) band stitched so that most is not visible on top; circa 47 cms at each end. The centre field has a red and light brown speckled 'ground'. A line of three boteh motifs (green and blue with white centres) alternate with two unequal sized diamonds. Two geometric borders at sides. Further speckled, light brown, blue and pink bands at each end.
