- Curator's comments
- Kitab-al Mudun (Book of Cities) is a collaborative work between Ziad Dalloul and the poet Adonis (Ali Ahmad Said), the result of their long friendship. The poems feature: Paris, Sanaa, Marrakesh, Fes, Cairo Damascus, Petra, New York and Granada. Each is accompanied by an abstract etching. The earthy colours recall memories of Dalloul's childhood spent in Syria and Algeria.
