Double-edged steel dagger and dagger-sheath (khanjar or shibriya) with a gentle curve and a round knob on the tip of the sheath. Hilt and dagger-sheath are made of wood covered in silver-plated metal. The dagger-sheath and hilt are elaborately decorated with embossed and punched floral patterns, twisted wire and an oval cartouche with an embossed portrait of a man (possibly King Hussein of Jordan) and inlaid with red and green glass beads. Set with a metal belt loop on the back. Inscriptions in Arabic on the base of the steel dagger with the maker's name and place of production.
