Amulet case of triangular shape with niello decoration at the centre surrounded by a line of blue glass and turquoise beads and a border of stamped gilded elements. At the bottom are suspended Russian 10 Kopek coins dating between 1900 and 1916. It is suspended by two chains attached to a winged rosette, also set with blue beads, and decorated with pendant elements with red coral and blue glass beads. The case can be opened on one side to insert prayers and Quranic verses written on paper, and would have been suspended to a woman's headdress with chains. In this instance these are decorated with red glass beads.
