Skull-cap made of quilted synthetic brown flanel, with a circular top and a band forming the sides. It has a small brown tassel at the seam and the cap is edged with a colourful band of needlework in shades of red, green, white, purple and yellow. The crown of the cap is lined with blue cotton and the sides with white cotton.

- Part of a collection of 100 ethnographic artefacts donated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in July 2015. This donation followed a visit to the British Museum in July 2014 by HE, Mr. Sirodjidin Aslov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. This collection of artefacts was gathered together with the help of Mr. Shamsullo Sakhibov, Trade Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Kingdom and with contributions by HE, Mr. Erkin Kasymov, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in the United Kingdom.
