Pair of silver hinged anklets; hollow and tubular and decorated with a band of chased and punched floral designs with alternating lozenge- and quatrefoil-shaped nielloed cartouches. The floral areas around the cartouches are gilded. The rims of the anklets include alternating nielloed and gilded bands. Designed to open from the front with a small pin closure. Anklet (b) is missing its pin. Worn in paired sets.

- This object is part of a large collection of items donated by Leila Ingrams in 2012 (2012,6030.1ff). Some were collected by her parents, Doreen and Harold Ingrams, between the 1920s-40s and others by Leila herself from the 1980s-2005 on the island of Zanzibar and in Hadramawt, Yemen.
