Brass coffee-pot (dallah) with a tinned interior; hourglass shape, curved handle, integrated dome-shaped lid with a finial and a beak-like spout. Decorated on the lid with concentric bands. Maker's mark stamped under the rim on two sides.

- Although the maker's mark is stamped with the date of 1945, this probably indicates how long the dallah-maker has been in business and not the actual date of production.

- Acquired by the Dept of Ethnography (now AOA) as a donation from the Government of Saudi Arabia specifically for the 1998 Bedouin tent collection. Used as part of the handling collection at the Museum of Mankind. Transferred to the Dept of the Middle East in 2012 on account of its Saudi Arabian provenance.
